Impact Borderless Digital (IBD) Ltd is a Kenya‑based consultancy and youth-mentorship platform delivering end‑to‑end solutions that turn complex problems into clear, actionable decisions. It began as a volunteer-driven initiative dedicated to youth mentorship, lifelong skills development, and career empowerment.
The IBD Philosophy
Exponential growth defines the knowledge and technology doubling curve. The curve can only accelerate with disruptive innovations such as artificial intelligence. Thus, a matching revolution in technological readiness and youth mentorship is critical to turning data-driven breakthroughs into inclusive, lived value. In the course of project planning and execution, IBD ensures structured and progressive mentorship that complements formal education to equip young people everywhere to navigate and shape the relentless currents of digital change—delivering on IBD's slogan: Impact without Imposition.
The data-driven digital revolution requires an equivalent youth-mentorship revolution to help cultivate talents for impact without imposition. A new structured and progressive mentorship model should complement formal education to nurture young people to be impactful, no matter where they live and work, or the generation they belong to. This model should equip them to keep pace with the unrelenting rapids of the river of change disrupting the global technology marketplace.
Our Mission
The mission of Impact Borderless Digital (IBD) is to design and deliver well-researched and professional solutions within a mentorship ecosystem that optimally and ethically utilises digital and data‑driven decisions for inclusive and sustainable development. In the process, IBD empowers the youth for progressive career development, scholarship, and borderless influence with a mindset of global citizenship.
To address the mission, IBD creates youth-centric networking, work and scholarship opportunities, generates a wellspring of well-researched advisory information under its signature Thought Leader’s Diary series, and sustains networks for youth mentorship through tailor-made training and work sessions aimed at lifelong skills and career development.
The goal is achieved through youth-centric work assignments, targeted talks, and interactive training sessions with smart and verified advice on youth employability skills, international scholarships, and enlightening digital resources. These multi-pronged approaches work together to challenge mindsets and inculcate progressive attitudes towards youth-centric engagements in the positive transformation of society. IBD addresses this grand mission through a responsive suite of laser-focused measures, taking the form of policy, strategy, and mission-critical activities, of which research, publications, and consultancy are central activities.
