IBD-YPD WINCAPS 101: FRESH Edition – Flexible Remote Skilling for Holidays

The digital age has widened the arena for meaningful youth engagement—yet many miss out due to skills gaps, weak personal brands, and sheer information overload. This short course equips you to stand out: craft a compelling personal brand, present crisply, and position yourself for career growth, grants, and a fast-growing pool of international scholarships for study, mobility, research, and innovation. You will learn to structure high-impact CVs and résumés, conduct interviews with confidence, and design persuasive project and research proposals aligned with international funding and scholarship requirements.
Are you a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional aiming to boost your employability, win scholarships, or sharpen your proposal-writing skills? Register for the IBD-YPD Youth Mentorship and Training Series running December 2025 – January 2026. Sessions run on weekdays in flexible 2-hour blocks: 07:00–09:00, 10:00–12:00, 14:00–16:00, and 18:00–20:00 (EAT).

Learning Outcomes
By the time of completing the requisite package (three blocks, 6 hours), the participant should be ready to:
- Build an authentic personal brand and a concise value proposition
- Deliver crisp presentations and face interviews with confidence (7Cs)
- Write high-impact CVs and résumés tailored to opportunities
- Develop persuasive project/research proposals mapped to funder/scholarship requirements
- Navigate information overload with practical filtering and prioritisation tactics
Registration fee: Discounted rate of KES 1,000 for the limited edition running from December 2025 – January 2026. After this period, the normal price of KES 2,000 will be restored.
